Students

This area highlights all technologies students need to access regularly

Students are responsible for contacting University Disability Services to discuss what is necessary for eligibility. Documents can then be submitted through Accommodate.

MyBanner (OneSIS) is our Student Information System, where you can register for courses, check and accept your financial aid, check and pay your bill, see your final grades for the semester, and apply for graduation when you are a senior.

Brightspace Training Location

An innovative way to prepare for an upcoming interview. This online system combines training AND practice to help improve your interview technique and build your confidence. Looking for interview feedback? Send your completed interview recordings to your career coach directly from the system!

Big Interview

Students on all three campuses will be able to order books online and will be delivered to Lock Haven and Mansfield for pick up during the first few weeks.

Bookstore

This is your online class portal if you have any online classes. You can also access any course-selected materials such as books included in the course and other publisher content that may be selected for use in your course.

Brightspace Login

Graduation and commencement are often used interchangeably, but there's a subtle difference. Graduation is the official act of completing your degree - meeting all the requirements. Commencement, however, is the celebratory ceremony honoring graduates' achievements. It's like the victory lap after crossing the finish line.

CU Experience is the new portal—gateway—for accessing Banner at Commonwealth University.  Experience provides a single-entry point for accessing most CU systems used by students including Degree Works, Student Self-Service, CU Succeed, and Brightspace.

CU Succeed is CU’s student success platform that lets you easily communicate with your professors, advisors, and others in your "Success Network", and also allows you to access resources and set up your own meetings for things like tutoring, academic coaching, and career coaching. You can also "raise your hand" in the system to ask a question if you're not sure where to start looking for answers.

This will be the new student worker system that will potentially be live before the start of the fall semester.

Online access to the campus libraries, including research assistance, as you work on your assignments for courses.

Library

You have access to thousands of expert-led courses taught by industry experts, and instructional videos designed to improve skills in a wide range of business, technical, and creative topics. Content can be watched and replayed on your own schedule. Earn certificates when you complete courses and use project files and quizzes to practice while you learn.

LinkedIn Login

The MyMediasite Portal is a comprehensive video platform available to all users to record and/or upload media content. It is integrated with Zoom and Brightspace.

Check your student email (Outlook), created and save documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and download Office 365 to your personal laptop.

Microsoft 365 Login

Commonwealth University has appointed Parchment as the designated agent for processing and sending official transcripts on behalf of the University. For information on how to order a transcript, visit Commonwealth University's Official Transcript page.

CU Succeed (aka Starfish and formerly known as HuskySuccess at the Bloomsburg campus) is Commonwealth University’s student success platform that helps to identify at-risk students, makes communication easier between faculty/staff and students, and puts resources such as tutoring, counseling, and career coaching right at our students’ fingertips.

Access reports and dashboards when you need them, and on the device that works best for you.

Commonwealth University has organized reporting into “operational” versus “official” reporting, which are described below and include some key links:

Operational Reporting – These are reports generated from the live student information system to help support day-to-day operations.  They may include current student lists, course enrollments, list of those who have applied to graduate, etc.  Operational reporting is handled by the Registrar’s Office and IT/Administrative Applications and includes reports from Banner or Argos.  Requests for new reports can be sent to registrar@commonwealthu.edu.

  • Program Official Data – Official program data for Program Review and external accreditors include program enrollment, completions, retention, graduation rates, etc.

  • HR Connect- a human resource management system that provides a broad range of applications, services, and information to HR offices, employees, and managers. In the Employee Service Center of HRConnect, employees can view employment information, update personal information, review leave totals, and gain 24/7 access to an integrated team of HR professionals through the HRConnect employee portal.

Bloomsburg Lock Haven Mansfield

On-campus housing is guaranteed for both first-year and transfer students. To lock in, you need to complete your My Housing application and housing agreement, select a meal plan, and request a roommate (if you have one in mind). Be sure to use your university-assigned email address when starting your application.
